CANTEEN

Fresh - Healthy - Affordable

Castle Hill High School P&C Association are proud to operate the Castle Hill High School Canteen. All profits are used to fund P&C projects to benefit your child's education.  Our  philosophy is to provide fresh, healthy and affordable food to our community.  We even have a kitchen garden that allows us to produce many of our own fresh ingredients!

Students can purchase breakfast daily (toasted sandwiches, Banana bread, Raisin toast)!

How to order

Castle Hill High School Canteen allows students and teachers to order their lunches. This can be done either in person (before school at the canteen counter) or through Flexischools online ordering. The lunches are then collected from the canteen - there are tables set up just outside the service area and canteen staff distribute them. We still take over the counter orders, however limited options are available for lunch items not pre-ordered.

The cut-off time for ordering online via Flexischools is 9:00am. Flexischools enables people to order their lunch the way they want it and, as you can imagine, making numerous individually designed sandwiches, rolls and salads can be very time consuming, however, Flexischools helps us streamline our preparation processes.

Click here for more information about how Flexischools works.

How to volunteer

We are always appreciative to have volunteers in the canteen. Volunteers are essential to our operations in order to keep prices down. Hours can be very flexible and it’s a wonderful way to really get to know our terrific school. All volunteers only have to pay half price for all items purchased for their children in the canteen on the day they are working and please do not worry if you can not make your shift, just let us know and WE will find a replacement.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please use our volunteer form. If you would like to know more, please contact the Canteen Supervisor via email: castlehillhighschool-cant@pandcaffiliate.org.au or phone: (02) 9634 4199

Volunteers are required to have a volunteer Working With Children Check (WWCC) which is free and does last for five years. For more information and to apply for your WWCC please click here.
